Data Analytics is a major focus of many Business Groups at Microsoft and helps to drive goals around platforms, campaigns projects and promotions. Data analytics incorporates aggregating and analyzing various metrics from a single point or multiple disparate data sources in order to provide useful insight into business areas such as usage, consumption, effectiveness, volume, referrals, pass throughs, opportunities, up sell potential, leads, potential growth, enrollment, and content interests. These data metrics can then be compiled into useful and visually pleasing mediums such Executive Scorecards, OLAP Cubes, Pivot Tables, and Data Repositories in order to be distributed and utilized within a group or organization. Through our deep experience with SQL, Excel, Data Cubes, ETL Packages, Jobs, Data Mining, SQL Reporting Services, Integration Services, WebTrends and Omniture, we have been able to provide the highest level of support and Data Analytics to all of our customers.

Projects at Microsoft:

Partnerpedia was responsible for creating Executive Scorecards for the World Partner Group that are leveraged to determine marketing effectiveness. The projects aggregate data from marketing campaigns, promotions and web site data, coupled with backend systems from Microsoft Partner Network data sources, to provide roll up views of return over invested dollars. In addition, Partnerpedia has also created custom reporting tools that leverage SQL Reporting Services to create visually intuitive dashboards for site usage metrics. These dashboards are designed to connect to multiple disparate sources and combine those data sources into a holistic picture for users to quickly and easily view data in real time. No analytic job is too small and we have worked with teams on monthly ad hoc reports as well as full scale reporting applications.
