Dir./Sr. Enterprise Account Manager (based in Morgan Hill, CA)


As the Enterprise Account Manager, your primary responsibility is the management and nurturing of existing enterprise accounts with the goal of maintaining customer satisfaction and revenue growth. As an EAM, you are the primary interface between the client and Partnerpedia. Your day-to-day role is to identify and facilitate new projects, develop creative account growth strategies, and take the lead in securing new revenue in these accounts.

Reporting Duties

The successful candidate will carry a sales quota and report to the CEO, and work closely with the greater sales and product management team.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing existing enterprise accounts, driving deals within established accounts, and spearheading the consultative selling process that moves account development ideas from initial introduction to close. Critical to this role is drive and initiative, ability to grow/maintain client relations, attention to detail and a passion for business and achieving goals.

  • Leading business development efforts to maintain and build solid relationships within the client organization and to identify new opportunities
  • Bring your business analysis skills to quantify new projects and opportunities, identify key stakeholders and budget
  • Diagnosing and identifying customer’s business needs against Partnerpedia’s solutions and abilities
  • Coordinating among the extended team at Partnerpedia to drive projects and proposals to closure
  • Building an active executive level network within key accounts; acquire key champions
  • Risk identification and risk management; assessing viability of new opportunities and existing contracts within clients’ businesses
  • Gain respect of clienst and become the “go-to” person in the client organization

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ proven account management success in high tech industry 
  • 10+ years’ proven success in a consultative selling environment
  • Proven experience managing accounts of $2M+
  • Account development/growth expertise
  • Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complicated subject matter clearly to all levels within an organization
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to travel
  • Analytical with savvy business acumen
  • Possess a college degree (science and/or business or background preferred)
